David has played for the jib since 1988, and after comming up through the ranks has found his neash on the soprano cornet. winning the brass in the park senior soloist prize twice. Of humble personality he is notably the most respected soprano player in the Borders even though he would never be pushed to admit it. David has also been band librarian for many years.

Katrina has been consistently dedicated during her time with Abbey Brass. When a position became available in the JIB we were very pleased to offer her the seat. Now Solo Cornet, Katrina is quickly gaining respect as a a mature Cornet player

John is a long time member of the band, and is one of the group responsible for the growth of the band over the past ten yers.

Evelyn is an experienced cornet player having been part of the JIB's many contesting triumphs, 100% dedicated to the persuit of musical excellence. A valued member of the JIB.
Jim Robertson
2nd/Solo Cornet
Jim and his family have been a part of the JIB for generations. A continuing tradition, as his sons have also started to play with the band (Abbey Brass).
He has recently joined the back row cornet ranks to make way for new (and old) tallent. However, Jim is still very much an experienced front row player.
Evelyn Brown

Having started to play at the age of 13 with the St.Boswells band for a short time Evelyn returned to the musical world. Evelyn has been fortifying the JIB cornet section for some years now. Always striving to improve, Evelyn is now one of the JIB's most active assets both as a player and behind the scenes of our organization.
John Kirk
3rd Cornet
Previously playing for a North East Championship band as a Tenor Horn Player, John is also a Trumpet player in the Borders Big Band Jazz/Swing and a member of the Borders Blues Session (in a pub near you). Most proudly involved with T.R.A.S.H. - youth and less-abled rhythm workshops.
